Sat Feb 7 1998 at the Bold Knight the MMI "10th plus a little... Reunion" was enjoyed by all
attending. Below are some pictures of the party. (Just click on the 'thumbnails' for a larger
version. - if you are dialing in with a modem, give it a little time, since the images are
fairly large.)

From Ian Meikle
"The re-union at the Bold Knight in Sunnyvale on Saturday 7th February went off very well despite the inclement weather, with good food and a very popular bar kept very busy. Unfortunately the weather did keep some people, who had planned to come, at home mainly due to the conditions of the roads. I think the next one should be held in a month that is known for it's good weather, but you never know with El Nino! He obviously did not work for MMI.
The MMIer's who did attend had a great time, including me!! We ultimately had around 110 attendees and it was great to see representation from most departments, and some people who had traveled a ways to get there such as Dan Kinsella himself from the East coast. Tom and Laura Branch from Florida and Steve Donovan from Oregon. I'm sure there are others, but these are the ones I know about.
Dan Kinsella had his digital camera with him and took some pictures that he has put up on the Web site so that people can have access to them and so that people that did not make it can see those that did having a good time.
To enhance this web page I would like to request that MMIer's who did attend, send in any anecdotes or their impressions of the re-union to Dan so that they can be included on the Web Site and give a balanced overview of the event. From my perspective I enjoyed a lively discussion with several folks and we cried in our beers about the good old days! It reminded me of a T-shirt that I have that says, "The older I get, the better I was." But it was good!!
So, Please be creative and give all the MMIer's who did not attend a good feeling for the experience and for what they missed. If we do a good job perhaps more will attend another one if it is a viable option!! Some feedback on that would be welcome!!!
I would like to finish with the words of an old Scottish song that seems appropriate;
For we're no awa to bide awa,
we're no awa to lea' ye.
We're no awa tae bide awa,
we'll aye come back and see ye!
"I don't know if you knew it or not, but we have an ex-MMI'er family that could use our help at the Reunion. Bob Zari is completely paralyzed and dying from Lou Gehrig's disease. Another ex-mmi'er, Bill Julitz, is trying to help Bob's wife (Debbie) raise funds to maintain thier household. They're broke and under a lot of pressure."
