This little boy needs our help.

Team,

Thanksgiving has just come and gone and although most of us surrounded ourselves with family, our favorite foods and maybe even some football we gave thanks for those things that are most important to us like family, friends and of course good health...

As we move forward to the upcoming holiday season we transition to a time of year that represents giving...Giving of yourselves, giving of gifts, perhaps of your time and it all works hand in hand as the more you give the more cheer that you experience..."Tis the season"...

Well, we have a member of our ADP family that is going through a very challenging time and could use our help, our cheer and our giving...I've attached an excerpt along with the family web address (www.maxupdate.com) that better describes Chuck and Shana Marcouiller's' son Max's' ordeal and the strain that it can have on all family members...Chuck Marcouiller, who is the HR MASM for the NorthWest and Desert Mountain Areas, has been absolutely tireless in his efforts to develop his HR team members and exceed ADP's expectations while keeping focused on the needs of his 4 year old son Max, who has just undergone a bone marrow transplant. For those of you who are not aware of the costs of a bone marrow transplant, well, it can be a financially devastating process..."even with the good insurance that we have, this last effort to save Max will cost between $40,000-$70,000 out of pocket"..."The procedure itself runs between $300,000 to $1 million depending on the level of complications. There are always complications at the level that Max will have to go through it is just a matter of which ones"...

In the past, each region in the West Division has collected $20 from each generous associate and has adopted a family for the holidays. We typically buy and deliver food, gifts for children, Christmas trees and ornaments, clothes and the like, to families who would not have a celebration without the giving of our kind hearted associates. This year I'd like to suggest that we adopt the Marcouiller's and their son Max. I'm asking each of you for a donation and/or a prayer so that we can keep our tradition alive and at the same time help someone in our ADP family who is in need...

If you would participate it would mean a lot to the Marcouiller's in their effort to get Max healthy, it would help a member of our family and it would signify the good that comes out of this season of giving...

Please submit all contributions to your manager by December 9th and in turn I will ask them to send all of the contributions to me at the new Pleasanton office...

I wish you all a Wonderful Holiday Season and a Very Happy New Year!
